In Case of Emergency

During our hours of operation:

Call us immediately at 780 737 7297 (Option 6) and we will do everything we can to get your pet in – this will be based on the type of emergency, procedure needed, doctor availability and available team members.

If it is outside of our business hours:

There are a number of veterinary clinics in the Edmonton area that are open late, as well as emergency hospitals that are open 24/7. Please seek assistance from your closest emergency vet. Below are a few emergency clinics and links to their sites.

What to do when you find a lost pet

If a lost animal is found within the city of Beaumont:

– Please contact Beaumont Bylaw at 780-851-9992

– The animal can be taken to a local veterinary clinic to be scanned for a microchip.

– Finders are asked to keep the pet in their care while waiting for further assistance from Bylaw

– If you find an injured pet, please call Beaumont Bylaw for further Instruction at 780-851-9992 OR contact the Edmonton Humane Society at 780-471-1774

If an animal is found in Leduc County (outside of Beaumont):

– Call Leduc Enforcement Services at 780-955-5005 Ext. 2

– Keep the pet in your care while waiting for assistance and instruction from Leduc Enforcement.

– Unfortunately there is NO cat bylaw for Leduc County and they will not take any found cats. If the cat is not injured and not in distress, please leave it where it is found.

– If you find an injured pet, please call Leduc Enforcement Services for further Instruction at 780-955-5005 Ext. 2 OR contact the Edmonton Humane Society at 780-471-1774. Please leave them a detailed message if it is after hours. Messages will be monitored and triaged.
